Ghariti Bodycare (formerly Hosia Online) became an official registered business entity in February 2009. However, I and the persons behind the company, have been handcrafting natural bath and body products for almost 15 years. Before the formation of Ghariti Bodycare, our commodities were exclusively sold to friends and families and various other clients who were referred by their own friends and relatives.

Within time however, the increasing desire to properly educate and introduce my custom products to a larger community took effect and Ghariti Bodycare the company was established, not because I wanted to become a much more profitable entity but because I truly believe that over time I have attained an indispensable amount of knowledge about skin and hair care regimes that I feel people ought to know about. In time, I have also discovered the grandiose benefits of unrefined shea butter and organic black soap and wanted to share that with you all as well. I and my coworkers make everyday use of all the products we offer.

For example, I faithfully make organic African black soap and raw shea butter a part of my skin and hair care regimen. I use my concoction of cocoa and shea butter lip balm to keep my lips soft and moisturized throughout my day. I relax my muscles after a long day of work in my bath tub adorned with my herbal bath tea bag. I scrub my skin in the shower three times a week with my favorite hatch of sugar scrub cubes. Finally when I need a non heavy moisturizer during hot summer months, I substitute my unrefined shea butter cream for my lighter shea butter or cocoa butter lotion. Thus the product descriptions you find on each product page are descriptions that were solely written by me and feature accounts from my own personal experience.

I can't remember the last time I shopped bath and body products in a commercial store and sometimes, I like to pick up a item while standing in line and take a look at the product labels to find myself grimacing at the ingredient list which mostly contains skin irritating agents such as parabens, sulfates and petroleum.

A number of our vendors subscribe to Fair Trade guidelines and policies to ensure equal pay and rights to the people who make our butters and black soap in co-op communities in West African countries.
